Britain is a country torn by a referendum, but how long for?
By Johnathan Elderfield

Everyone is moaning about Brexit at the moment, but does anyone wonder what the Europeans think of Britain’s current situation with Brexit (forever) on the horizon?
Every time there is a new vote to pass Brexit in the commons it becomes obvious that the country is torn.
A revival in Britain is certainly needed.

All anyone sees is the battles between re-mainer’s and brexiteer’s fighting to put a flag in sight of a television camera as an expression their view – some people in Union Jack waistcoats, others in EU.
This kind of behaviour can be seen every day on TV networks like Sky News and the BBC leading up to parliamentary votes.
The evidence says that young people in Britain voted to remain in the EU, which means it was the older generation that voted to leave.
The harsh reality for young people living in Britain today, is that those who’ve driven us out won’t be around to see the long-lasting effects of Brexit.
So, it is pretty obvious what young people think of Brexit here in the UK.
But what do people think elsewhere?
“I was shocked initially when I found out all that time ago that Britain had voted to leave the European Union. I was also quite sad too,” says Heli Koine, 26, from Cologne, Germany.
“I see the EU as a co-operative that brings nations together and acts as a deterrent for history to be repeating itself.”
That was the initial idea behind it all, when in 1969 – after two unsuccessful applications were vetoed by the French, Britain were given the green (blue) light.
However, people in Britain grew tired of being dictated to.
For the EU to work, it has to work for the people of the nation it represents.
Take a look a Greece, they were exploited by the EU for years until their economy was tarnished and left for dead.
According to economist, Yanis Varoufakis, Greek people were receiving credit cards through the post that they hadn’t even applied for.
The notion of the EU failing Britain isn’t totally farfetched, Britain is one of Germany’s biggest car distributors – German motors can be seen up and down British roads, everywhere.
“I think it is going to be a real shame when Britain leave the EU, especially for Germany as we sell you guys so many cars. I went to Britain – or Wales, last year and there are so many cars that are German, driven there,” says Ev Angelo-Spardalis, 28, from Bonn, Germany.
Opinions are obviously mixed in all walks of life, in Germany, they will be too.
Britain is in a tough position economically due to Brexit, nobody is much bothered about doing any trade deals soon, at least, not until this mess it behind them.
